In this month’s edition of The Beamline, we’re focusing on partnerships and what they mean to us as a team and as a business.

No project is built by one person alone. Every successful outcome is the result of strong relationships between owners, employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and communities working toward a common goal.

This month, we’re highlighting some of the partnerships that drive our success, from celebrating the subcontractors who support our projects to showcasing the collaborations that keep our work moving forward every day.

Project Spotlight: Clare County Road Commission

Asphalt paving is underway around the service garage

Construction continues to move steadily forward at the new Clare County Road Commission facility, with the project remaining on track for completion this July.

Significant progress has been made across the site in recent weeks. Inside the truck storage and service garage areas, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems continue to take shape as crews advance wiring, piping, and equipment installation.

Interior finishes are also progressing, with painting underway, ceiling grid installation beginning, and final windows now in place.

Outside, the project continues to transform with completed office sidewalks, ongoing gutter installation, new site utilities, and preparations for exterior signage and lighting. Work is also beginning on the building’s stone veneer and site infrastructure improvements.

As the project enters its final stages, FED and the Clare County Road Commission team are focused on completing interior systems, finalizing site work, and preparing for substantial completion.

We look forward to delivering a modern, efficient facility that will support the Clare County Road Commission’s operations for years to come.

Inside FED: Subcontractor Golf Outing

At FED, we know that great projects are built by great teams, and that includes the trusted subcontractors who help bring our work to life. Their commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and collaboration has played a major role in our growth over the years.

To show our appreciation, we hosted a golf outing for many of the subcontractors who have supported FED and shared in our commitment to customer service, quality, and integrity.

In partnership with our steel supplier, Chief Buildings, we enjoyed a fantastic day on the course filled with great conversations, perfect weather, and plenty of laughs.

It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen relationships and celebrate the people who help make our success possible.

We look forward to making this an annual tradition to celebrate the subcontractors whose dedication, craftsmanship, and partnership continue to drive our success.

Steel Spotlight: Bay County Road Commission
