What is the Clare County Road Commission project?
The project is a brand new facility consisting of four pre-engineered metal buildings to provide a modern, durable, and energy-efficient space for the Clare County Road Commission. The facility includes a service garage, parking garage, and supporting infrastructure built for long-term community use.
What progress has been made so far?
Significant construction milestones have been achieved as the project advances toward completion.
Office Building: Siding panels, masonry fire walls, ductwork and fire suppression piping and interior framing is all completed.
Truck Storage: The FED steel crew completed the roof panels, framed openings are complete, siding is underway.
Service Garage: Underground plumbing is complete, first blocks set for masonry walls.
What’s next?
In the upcoming phase, crews will continue siding installation and mechanical and electrical rough-in within the office. Masonry walls will be laid for the fire wall and fire-rated storage area, followed by the start of interior framing. Work in the truck storage area will focus on completing roof panel and insulation installation and finalizing underground plumbing and electrical systems.
