What is this facility?
The East Jordan Plastics project is a 200′ x 150′ cold storage expansion designed and built by FED Design Builders. This addition supports the company’s growing production needs by increasing storage capacity and improving overall workflow efficiency.

Current Progress
The facility has reached several major construction milestones:

  • Full structural assembly and enclosure have been completed.
  • The FED team finished trim package installation and siding tie-ins.
  • Gravel has been staged for driveway installation, and interior concrete floors have been poured.
  • Lighting conduit runs were completed, and crews pulled wire and installed lighting fixtures both inside and outside the building.
  • Wall packs and door backers have been installed, along with framed openings for the existing overhead door.
  • Both new overhead doors and openers are now in place.
  • The main power supply conduit run has been finished, with wiring pulled and final connections in progress.
  • Conduit and wiring for the LP station have been installed, and the compressor for the fire suppression system has been set.

Next Steps
In the coming phase, the team will:

  • Complete final site grading and seed green spaces, weather permitting.
  • Finish electrical connections, ensuring full power integration across the facility.
