What Is This Facility?

The Stoops facility is a new construction project designed to support semi-truck sales, parts operations, and full-service truck maintenance. As the project nears completion, construction, interior finishes, and site development have progressed on schedule. The facility is being built to deliver a modern, efficient environment focused on durability, operational flow, and long-term performance.

What’s Completed So Far?

The Stoops Western Star of Michigan project is in its final commissioning and closeout phase, with the building nearing full occupancy.

Utilities & Systems:
Gas pressure has been increased and new regulators installed. Electricians have completed wiring the remaining site light poles and are nearing completion of the ESI 10 scope and electrical punch list. The industrial street sign is now powered, and the forklift wire guidance system has been installed.

Exterior & Building Signage:
Building signage has been mounted to the facility, completing another key exterior element.

Finishes & Interior:
Painting punch list items are nearing completion, and owner furniture and coffee makers have been installed as the space transitions toward occupancy.

What’s Next?

Commissioning & Inspections:
The generator start-up will be completed, followed by a temporary Certificate of Occupancy inspection.

Elevator:
Work will continue on the elevator hoist way and cab installation, along with relocating the elevator shaft mini-split.
