Site Supervisor
Site Supervisor

Full-time position: Onsite employment in Gladwin, Michigan. Travel will be required.
Salary: $65,000+ based on experience
Position Summary:
An ideal candidate for a Site Supervisor should have pre-engineered metal building experience, be great at meeting deadlines, stay on budget, and remain organized throughout the entire project. This person will thoroughly understand the “order of operations” for construction. Construction experience is a requirement. Objectives and Competencies:
Typical duties of our Site Supervisor would include the following requirements of the position:
- Maintaining job schedules and work scopes to avoid cost increases and meet budget goals.
- Meet project and schedule goals while exceeding our company’s quality and workmanship goals.
- Provide our customers with extraordinary service while conforming to the contract.
- Provide proactive job site management and positive team leadership and motivation.
- Run weekly onsite meetings with subcontractors and customers, as the contract requires.
- Perform change order management and complete detailed daily job logs.
- Work directly with the Project Manager to develop schedules and draft weekly updates.
- Responsible for scheduling subcontractors and site inspections.
- Uphold FED’s strong safety model.
- Follow project rules, policies, and procedures that have been established by FED through the customer’s contract.
- Uphold a professional representation of FED Corporation to subcontractors and clients.
- Be confident in their ability to lead and take charge of a project.
Education and Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of construction experience, emphasizing leadership management. Knowledge of Procore is preferred.
Physical Requirements: Travel is required for this position. Employee must be able to sit in a vehicle for an extended period and walk construction sites that may contain uneven or elevated terrain.

Objectives and Competencies:
Typical duties of Steel Erector would include the following requirements of the position:
- Erecting steel
- Install insulation
- Install sheeting, roofing, and walls
- Erect mezzanines and handrails as required
- Structural steel fabrication and erecting
- Capable of being certified to operate equipment
- Able to work at heights
Education and Experience: Steel construction experience is preferred, but training is available for motivated and reliable individuals.
Physical Requirements: You must be able to work on your feet for extended periods in all forms of weather. The employee will be asked to lift and move materials by bending and reaching.

Objectives and Competencies:
The primary functions of the Clerical Support Associate include, but are not limited to:
- Be task and detail-oriented, specific to time sensitivity and order of priority.
- General administrative duties.
- Maintain the office’s professional environment and welcoming atmosphere.
- Confidently answering phones while identifying the appropriate point of contact for transfer.
- Function as a direct support to Human Resources and Marketing for related duties.
- Purchasing and maintaining office supply stock.
- Specific attention to detail when updating or editing any branded materials or business content.
- Manage multiple interoffice calendars for the purpose of scheduling.
- Assisting staff with various tasks related to multiple jobs, functions, and events.
- Perform general office errands and be willing to assist in researching items for purchases across multiple departments.
- Provide technical assistance and communicate service orders on office-wide copiers and printers.
- Primary contact for all project deliveries and office materials.
- Supportive duties as deemed appropriate by management.
- Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have high efficiency in computer use and email platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Offers a self-initiative, organized concept and possesses the ability to multitask.
- A skill set in photography and/or videography would be an added benefit.
Education and Experience: The Clerical Support Associate at FED Corporation should have at least three years of experience according to the essential functions and competencies provided. This person should be confident in their ability to provide excellent customer service, willing and able to ask questions, and pay extreme attention to task-oriented details. Must be available to work Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged seated desk time while performing computer work. Must be able to bend, lift and carry supplies and materials up to twenty pounds.
