What Is the Fick & Sons Gas Station Project?

The Fick & Sons Gas Station project is a building addition and renovation of an existing facility in Kalkaska, Michigan. This project involves expanding and upgrading the current gas station to improve functionality, efficiency, and long-term performance. As a returning client, FED Design Builders is proud to partner with Fick & Sons once again.

What Progress Has Been Made So Far?

Mechanical & Electrical:
Rough electrical installation is complete and has passed inspection. Supply ductwork installation is nearing completion, and the rooftop unit (RTU) and condensing unit are being set in place.

Inspections:
The building has successfully passed its interior rough inspection, marking a major milestone as the project transitions into interior finishes.

What’s Next?

Interior Finishes:
Crews will install wall insulation, complete the required insulation inspection, and begin drywall installation and finishing.

Exterior Construction:
Exterior siding installation will continue as the building moves closer to full enclosure and interior completion.
