What Is the Fick & Sons Propane Office Project?

The Fick & Sons Propane Office project is a new construction facility in Grayling, Michigan, designed to support propane operations and office functions. This project will provide a modern, efficient space to support daily operations while improving functionality and long-term performance. FED Design Builders is proud to continue its partnership with Fick & Sons on this new development.

What Progress Has Been Made So Far?

Structure & Framing:
Stairway framing has been completed to support the upper trusses. Second-floor decking is complete, and a temporary platform has been installed over the stairway opening to support ongoing construction activities.

Site & Utilities:
A temporary power skid has been installed to support construction operations. Trusses have been delivered, staged, and laid out in preparation for installation.

Weather Impacts:
Rain delayed the planned truss installation, shifting that work into the upcoming week.

What’s Next?

Structure & Enclosure:
Crews will set the upper trusses and begin roof sheathing installation. Exterior window and door openings will be field measured for fabrication.
