FED completed the transformation of a former elementary school, previously used as a daycare, into modern office and laboratory space for the Central Michigan Health Department.
This $1 million renovation supports the department’s mission by creating functional, flexible workspaces designed for effective public health operations. The updated facility now serves as a collaborative hub where teams can advance programs that strengthen families, revitalize neighborhoods, and expand access to essential health and wellness services.
Delivered ahead of schedule, the new facility is now fully operational and proudly serving its community. FED Design Builders is honored to have brought MiHIA’s vision to life, partnering with the Sunrise Community Resource Center (SCRC) and other community leaders to help build a brighter, healthier future.
At FED, we believe thoughtful design and construction empower communities to thrive—and this project is a testament to that commitment.
